Photo: Dan Evans We are thrilled to announce that Dan Evans will be featured as a special guest Expedition Leader on three sailings aboard the 10-guest Misty Fjord this summer. Dan has lived in Sitka for over 35 years, and has explored the Alaskan wilderness extensively. His adventures have included summiting Denali, skiing across the Juneau Ice Field, and hiking the most extreme geography of the Last Frontier. Recently, Dan addressed a packed house of locals at the University of Alaska Southeast-Sitka campus to chronicle his epic hike from Sitka to the southern tip of Baranof Island- a journey of 22 days over the course of four summers. His rare and intimate relationship with the land has allowed him to capture unprecedented images of wildlife and wild places. Recently, Dan was a featured photographer on National Geographic TV, and appeared on the television program Wild Things.
