Visiting Winemakers
Chateau Gassier
In perfect harmony with nature, the vineyards of Provence stretch from the Mediterranean coast towards the north of Nice. Originating from Barcelonnette (Hautes-Provence) and part of the Provencal nobility since 1421, the Gassier family bought Château Gassier and its 40 hectares of vines in 1982.
Through passion, hard work and knowledge combined, Château Gassier has developed an exceptional range of top quality Rose, and also powerful red wines with a great potential of ageing.
Finca Valpiedra
Finca Valpiedra is an 80 hectare estate in the best part of Rioja - Rioja Alta. Valpiedra means rocky valley and just like in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the vineyards are full of round stones that hold the heat throughout the night, and also stops water from evaporating, creating a beautiful terroir for rich, full bodied red wines.
Finca Valpiedra is the only Rioja producer to be included in the prestigious organization Grandes Pagos de Espana and have their flagship wine - Finca Valpiedra Riserva served on all the 3-Michelin-starred restaurants of Spain.
