Book Your 2020 Alaskan Dream Cruise Now!
Immerse Yourself in Alaska Culture and Wildlife
on Our Unique Small Ship Cruises
Make plans now for your own phenomenal wildlife viewing and native Alaska cultural experience, because we don't want to leave port without you!

Alaskan Dream Cruises delivers immersive, culturally focused small ship cruise vacations. Owned and operated by an Alaska family with native heritage, we pride ourselves on guest experiences based on our family's relationships in local communities, favorite destinations and personal expertise. But you don't have to take our word for it…

"Part of the joy of cruising is interacting with the crew. When they hail from the destination you're visiting, the experience can be even more rewarding… Plenty of small ships navigate the narrow fjords that surround the towering glaciers of Alaska, but only Alaskan Dream Cruises visits the isolated villages of Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian tribes along the coast."
Travel + Leisure | October 2019

2020 cruises sail from March through September, each sailing strategically planned to make the most of wildlife migration patterns featuring humpback whales, bears, puffins and more. Most of our itineraries include:

  • Exploring abundant wildlife areas
  • Kayak and skiff excursions
  • Rainforest hikes and beachcombing
  • Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve
  • Cultural immersion in at least one Alaska village
  • Delectable Alaska cuisine, featuring the freshest local seafood and other gourmet fare

The holidays are coming up… wouldn't one of our cruises make the perfect gift?

Our Newest Vessel Takes "True Alaska" to the Next Level
The Alaska of your wildest dreams just got a little wilder – in the best possible way. Three new Alaskan Dream Cruises itineraries featuring the newest member of our fleet, the Kruzof Explorer, push the boundaries of Southeast Alaska and take guests to remote destinations, where you'll experience "True Alaska" like never before.

The 128-foot vessel's extensive renovations and modern elegance belie its history as a crab fishing boat in the Bering Sea. It was built with one of the world's strongest hulls, making it possible to head into waters where few others can venture. So, look for new ports of call, including Klawock and Yakutat, on the Kruzof's routes.

Travelers can expect premier lodging on the intimate, 12-passenger boat, including:

  • Comfortable staterooms with en suite bathrooms and huge picture windows
  • Large outer deck for unsurpassed wildlife viewing and photography
  • Expansive dining, bar and lounge area with panoramic views
  • Luxurious theater room

In addition, the Kruzof is outfitted with a sport fishing boat, a high-speed zodiac boat, kayaks and paddleboards for guests to use on daily adventures. The 2020 Kruzof sailings start in May.

Staff Spotlight: Meet Laurel!
Sitka native Laurel Raschick has been a Sales and Reservations Specialist for Alaskan Dream Cruises for more than two years. Before that, she spent two summers working in shore support for the company.

Laurel brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to the job and loves hearing the excitement of guests who are coming to Alaska to fulfill that "bucket list" dream.

Q. What is your favorite thing about this job?

Laurel: I grew up here, so being able to share that with people from all around the world is really special.

Q. What is a surprising thing that others may not know about your job?

Laurel: In reservations, we occasionally get to go on some of the cruises ourselves – it's such a fun experience to put faces to names, and to get to meet the guests we've been speaking with!
