Star Breeze and Star Legend Yachts will Debut in May with $17 Million in Renovation Windstar Cruises completes its recent acquisition of three small luxury cruise ships with the debut of Star Breeze and Star Legend in May of 2015. The all suite power yachts will undergo a $17 million stem-to-stern transformation and join sister-ship, Star Pride , as Windstar expands its fleet to six yachts. The renovation plan includes suggestions from Windstar's guests to redesign the Lounge to Windstar's style, expand the popular Veranda and Candles Grill and add more deck space-more than doubling the initial renovation budget on sister-ship, Star Pride. Beautiful Public Spaces Every public space will be transformed to embrace Windstar's signature casual elegance. The observation lounge on the top deck will become the renowned Yacht Club. The entertainment lounge will be completely updated with new flooring and furniture. The outdoor Star Deck will expand by four feet on each side, giving additional space for lounging. The club space will turn into Windstar's popular Compass Rose. Elegant Dining Experiences Windstar's signature dining experience will be introduced as AmphorA Restaurant, where sparkling Murano glass accents will set the mood while Windstar chefs prepare contemporary menus and fresh local dishes. The restaurant at the aft of the yacht will become Veranda, with expanded outdoor seating. At night the space will transform to Candles Grill , a romantic dining experience under the stars. All Suite Accommodations Every guest suite will undergo stylish upgrades for a more luxurious experience. Destination suites will highlight unique Windstar ports of call. Fresh fruit and flowers will welcome you, while soft Italian-leather headboards and crisp Egyptian cotton linens will invite you to linger.
