Highlights: This Mid-Voyage Land Adventure is anticipated to sell out well before final payment deadline (120 days prior). It requires advance booking with Silversea Reservations and must be prepaid at the time of booking. It is non-refundable at the time the programme is added to your client(s)' completed cruise booking. There is nothing like the thrill and ambiance in Monaco during the weekend of the Grand Prix de Monaco. Your client(s) can watch and take in the spectacle from the Balcony of the Club F1 Monaco Dance Academy while enjoying inclusive hospitality and a comfortable vantage point.
Day One: After tendering ashore your client(s) will depart the pier and transfer via air conditioned van to the F1 Monaco Dance Academy. They may try the F1 simulator to get the feeling that they are driving an F1 car. A live band will provide the entertainment today while they sip cocktails and watch the all-important time trials. There will be an opportunity for a question and answers with a former F1 driver before an exclusive buffet lunch. At the end of the day the choice is theirs, a van will be able to transfer them back to the tender dock or they may wish to use the opportunity to stroll back and soak up some more Grand Prix fever!
Day Two: Your client(s) will enjoy breakfast before tendering ashore, transfer by van to the F1 Monaco Dance Academy for the start of the Grand Prix de Monaco - the most exciting and famous Formula One race in the world. Comprised of 78 laps, drivers navigate through city streets in a clockwise direction, from St. Devote into Casino Square, downhill, past the hotels before the infamous hairpin turn at the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel. They even soar through the tunnel at speeds of 170 mph (274 kph)! The skill demonstrated as the drivers downshift, negotiate curves, hills, and sharp turns enthrals all who watch. This racing and social highlight of the year ends with the wave of the checkered flag. A buffet lunch will be set up and beverages will be available throughout the day. There will be an additional question and answer period with a former F1 driver today. At the end of the race your client(s) may take the van back to the ship or again stroll through Monte Carlo. This Land Adventure includes, transfers, F1 Monaco Dance Academy tickets for the time trials and final race, buffet lunch and cocktails, a former Formula One guest speaker, and Silversea's exclusive Grand Prix Race Essentials.
