This series offers guests of select voyages aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin the opportunity to learn about marine wildlife and habitats from some of the world's most fascinating scientists, oceanographers, and conservationists.

Featured on our June 7, 2017, Bali to Fiji voyage are Drs. Sangeeta Mangubhai and Emily Darling, who will share their expertise on coral reefs and climate change, conservation challenges and opportunities in Melanesia, and WCS conservation approaches in Fiji. Themes of communities and livelihoods will be woven throughout these presentations by these distinguished WCS scientists:

Sangeeta Mangubhai, PhD - Director, WCS Fiji

Currently based in the capital city of her native Fiji, Suva, Sangeeta has studied ecology and advised policy in Fiji, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Indonesia, and East Africa.
