Star Clipper Returns to Mediterranean for 2022 Season Book by October 31 to receive $600 savings per cabin Miami, FL (October 2020) — Star Clippers has announced that its namesake tall sailing ship, Star Clipper, will return to ply the blue waters of the Mediterranean for the 2022 season. The vessel, which has been sailing around Southeast Asia, will complete the 2021/22 season in Thailand before making its way to the Med to join sister ships Royal Clipper and Star Flyer. In fact, 2022 will mark the first time since 2016 that all three Star Clippers ships will sail together in the Mediterranean. All told, Star Clipper will offer 29 sailings in summer 2020, ranging from five to 16 days with rates starting at $1,300 per person based on single occupancy. Guests who book their 2022 Star Clipper Med sailing by October 31, 2020 will receive $600 savings per cabin. As part of the transition, Star Clipper will depart Safaga, Egypt in April 2022 and sail though the famous Suez Canal, offering guests the unique opportunity to pass through the artificial sea-level waterway which connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea on board an authentic tall sailing ship. Once back in Mediterranean waters, Star Clipper will offer a variety of itineraries including Yachtman's Paradise - a seven-night sailing between Istanbul and Athens - as well as the perpetual favorite - round trips from Rome and Cannes from May through October.
