Miami, FL (October 2020) — Star Clippers is pleased to announce the launch of their newest, full-color Sailing Collection brochure detailing the line's authentic sailing itineraries around the globe from April 2021 through March 2023. Star Clippers fleet of three tall ships sail year round, with itineraries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Southeast Asia as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings. Those interested in learning more can download a digital PDF on the Star Clippers website.

Guests booking any April 2021—March 2023 will receive 65% off brochure pricing, a cabin upgrade valid for cabin categories 2-6, onboard credit of up to $300 per cabin depending on category booked and complimentary pre-paid gratuities. Offer is good on bookings made by December 31, 2020.

The upcoming sailing season brings some big news: the line's namesake ship, Star Clipper, will begin sailing in the Mediterranean for the 2022 season, marking the first time since 2016 that all three Star Clippers ships will sail together in this idyllic part of the globe. As part of the transition, Star Clipper will offer a special itinerary departing Safaga, Egypt in April, 2022 and sailing though the famous Suez Canal—a journey best made on board an authentic tall sailing ship. Once back in Mediterranean waters, Star Clipper will offer a variety of itineraries including Yachtman's Paradise—a seven-night sailing between Istanbul and Athens—as well as the perpetual favorite roundtrips from Rome and Cannes from May through October.

Travelers looking to experience an authentic sailing adventure in Southeast Asia are still in luck—a variety of sailings around Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo and Cambodia are available for booking before Star Clipper completes the 2021/22 season in Thailand and makes her way to Europe.

Royal Clipper and Star Flyer will continue to sail in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, with several exciting new itineraries to choose from. Greek Island Gems, a seven-night itinerary sailing round trip out of Athens, will visit lesser-known Greek ports such as Milos, where the famed Venus de Milo sculpture was found and tiny Chalki with less than 350 inhabitants. A pair of 10- and 11-night sailings between Athens and Venice will call on Katakolon, Greece as well as popular ports such as Korkula and Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor in Montenegro.

Race fans will be happy to hear that Grand Prix Sailings are back for 2021 and 2022, with two Royal Clipper itineraries designed around putting travelers in Monaco for these world-famous races. The sailing round trip out of Cannes is timed to coincide with the Grand Prix Trials, while the itinerary from Cannes to Rome will put guests in Monaco for the Grand Prix Finals.

Finally, Star Clippers' tall ships remain one of the best ways to see the diverse islands of Caribbean, visiting remote islands and ports the big ships can't get to. The 2021 and 2022 seasons bring fresh ports of call, including Salt Whistle Bay on the island of Mayreau, the smallest in the Grenadines, during the Royal Clippers' 2021 Christmas sailing. This stunning port is all about relaxing on powdery, white sand beaches and swimming in the endless turquoise sea. And in 2022, the Royal Clipper will offer the opportunity for guests to enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities on exotic Martinique and experience the magic of its French-meets-Caribbean culture.

For more than 25 years, Star Clippers has been introducing travelers to the thrill of modern tall ship sailing to remote ports in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indonesia and Far East. The company operates three of the world's largest and tallest sailing vessels: Star Clipper and Star Flyer are traditional clipper ships with modern amenities carrying 170 guests, while the 227-guest Royal Clipper holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest and only five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service today. All three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, convivial tropical bars on deck and piano lounges.
