Global Travel Update – Current requirements and restrictions for U.S. and Canadian passport holders

This is just a selection of the latest information on new entry requirements and restrictions. For a full list of destinations and each country's entry requirements for U.S. and Canadian passport holders, please visit our website

The list of international travel destinations that your clients can safely travel to is ever-changing, so all outbound passengers should check with the U.S. Embassy or Canadian Government and their preferred airline before finalizing travel plans. The Government of Canada has since lifted its advisory to avoid all non-essential travel and has replaced it with a notice urging all travelers to be fully vaccinated before a trip. Our Destination Experts are happy to help you craft trips for your Canadian clients departing later in the year and into 2023.

Europe:
  • Sweden: Open to fully vaccinated US and Canadian citizens. Canadian travelers require proof of vaccination, a negative Covid-19 test (can be PCR or Antigen) taken within 72 hours prior to entry, and proof of residency. American travelers require proof of vaccination.
Middle East:
  • Israel: Open to fully vaccinated US and Canadian citizens. Travelers must have been vaccinated within the last 6 months prior to travel, with either a recognized vaccine or a booster shot. Travelers also require proof of vaccination, a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival, a completed health declaration and permissions form within 24 hours prior to arrival. A Covid-19 PCR test must be taken upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport (Kensington Tours highly recommends booking this test in advance). Travelers must isolate at their first hotel for 24 hours or until a negative result is returned (whichever comes first). Arrivals allowed at Ben Gurion Airport only as land borders are closed
