Global Travel Update – Current requirements and restrictions for U.S. and Canadian passport holders

What's Open for Travel – December 19th Edition
Current requirements and restrictions on travel

This is just a selection of the latest information on new entry requirements and restrictions. For a full list of destinations and each country's entry requirements for U.S. and Canadian passport holders, please visit our website

The list of international travel destinations that your clients can safely travel to is ever-changing, so all outbound passengers should check with the U.S. Embassy or Canadian Government and their preferred airline before finalizing travel plans. The Government of Canada has since lifted its advisory to avoid all non-essential travel and has replaced it with a notice urging all travelers to be fully vaccinated before a trip. Our Destination Experts are happy to help you craft trips for your Canadian clients departing later in the year and into 2023.

Europe:
  • Ireland: Open to fully vaccinated travelers with proof of vaccination, and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior arrival or a negative Antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. All travelers require a Public Health Passenger Locator Form. Also open to non-vaccinated travelers with stricter restrictions.
Latin America:
  • Argentina: Fully vaccinated travelers require proof of vaccination and a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to boarding. Non-vaccinated travelers require a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to boarding and must quarantine for 7 days upon arrival. All travelers are administered a rapid Antigen test upon arrival.
