Travel + Leisure World's Best River Cruise Line We're pleased to announce that 2016 River Cruising is open for sale and full details on our 2016 River Cruises are now available here. We invite you to join us aboard a Tauck European River Cruise soon… and experience firsthand what the readers of Travel + Leisure have voted the "World's Best River Cruise Line" three out of the last four years. And we want to tell you all about the exciting new touches we''ve planned for Tauck River Cruising in 2016...

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2016...

We've now got MORE capacity and a total of 9 riverboats as two new Inspiration Class Riverboats – ms Joy and ms Grace – join our fleet
Like Tauck's other Inspiration Class riverboats (443 ft) introduced in 2014, the new-for-2016 ms Grace and ms Joy will carry far fewer passengers – just 130 guests – feature more suites – 22 – yet will feature the most director-level staff compared to ships of the same size operated by other river cruise lines. ms Joy will operate exclusively on the Danube, while ms Grace will cruise along the Rhine.

New Rhine River Cruise for 2016! The Rhine, Swiss Alps & Amsterdam
10 days including a 7-night cruise
Our newest Tauck river cruise combines a two-night stay in Berne, the capital of Switzerland, visiting the Jungfrau, "the Top of Europe," and the Swiss Alps with a weeklong castle-rich Rhine River cruise between Basel and Amsterdam. Your clients will explore Switzerland, Germany, France and the Netherlands – discovering historic cities and quaint towns including Berne, Lucerne, Stuttgart, Rudesheim, Bonn, Köln, Dordrecht, Colmar and Amsterdam.

Exciting new enhancements to our popular river cruises throughout Europe
We've added exclusive new destination experiences to many of our river cruises' included shore excursions, including special evenings at venues like these:
  • Château du Taillis – A charming Normandy château built in the 1500s atop the foundations of a 13th-century fortress, surrounded by lush grounds reflecting the grandeur and spirit of classic 18th-century parklands. (Rendezvous on the Seine)
  • Château de Bizy – Inspired by the grandeur of Versailles, this Royal Château in Normandy was built by France's last king, and is owned by descendants of Napoleon's family, who live here to this day. (Cruising the Seine plus Versailles, Paris & London)
  • Schloss Ehreshoven – This moated castle in Germany dates back to the 14th century; now a charitable foundation, the 17th-century manor house was restored in the 1990s. (The Romantic Rhine; The Rhine, Swiss Alps & Amsterdam)
  • Schloss Johanissberg or Burg Schwarzenstein – Perched in the mountains amidst vineyards overlooking the Rhine near Wiesbaden, Germany, these historic venues have been producing noted wines for hundreds of years. (The Rhine and Moselle)
We also invite you to take a look at the select 2016 European river cruise departures below (or get more details at www.tauck.com/river-cruises),
